Croydon Council is gathering feedback on savings proposals to tackle their financial crisis. Many of the voluntary and community sector organisations in the borough, including the Carers Information Service, receive funding from Croydon Council. Our funding enables us to offer a Carers Respite Service; a Workshops, Health & Wellbeing Service; Carer's Assessments and the salaries for half of our staff team. This funding is under threat of severe cuts, which could have a very serious impact on services that are provided to the community. We urge all of our readers to complete the survey so that the Council knows how important these services are to carers. The closing date is 24 January. The survey can be found here: Croydon’s Savings Proposals – Newsroom

If you require an accessible version of the survey or would like to give your views by phone, call 020 8604 7114 between 10am-4pm, Monday – Friday.
