Support for Carers in Croydon
What is a Carer?
A carer is someone who looks after a family member, friend or neighbour who needs help due to illness, frailty or disability. Both children and adults can be carers, and the care they provide is unpaid.
Organisations Open at Christmas
Croydon Neighbourhood Care Association and Croydon POP Service have compiled a list of organisations in Croydon that are open over the festive period, including those providing Christmas lunches on Christmas Day.
What is the Carers' Information Service?
The Carers' Information Service was established by the Whitgift Foundation in 1997 and aims to ensure that the carers of Croydon, and the professionals who work with them, are as well-informed as possible about the rights and services that carers are entitled to.
